NONI Magical plant Following the words of the famous Persian physician-scientist Avicenna and using modern achievements of science, we can say that this is enough to ensure the proper functioning of the cells of the human body to enjoy good health.
This means that only fully nourished cells can regenerate to function properly and efficiently. The cell also needs to be given the ability to produce energy. A cell that does not produce energy dies.
These processes take place in the mitochondria, which also require an adequate “supply” of nutrients.
Modern food not only does not provide us with the necessary nutrients, but it can be contaminated with antibiotics, pesticides and toxic chemicals.
A stressful lifestyle, constant tension, lack of physical activity, exposure to media fear-inducing reports, uncritical submission to advertising, etc. only worsen our health. Of course, to the extent that we are aware, we try to take care of our health, but I believe that it is often a “fight with windmills” because we cannot separate ourselves from civilization, so to speak, and live outside of it.
What is noni made of?
WHAT IS NONI MADE OF?
Noni (Morinda Citrifolia L.) is a nutritious whole food.
Approximately 200 phytochemicals have been identified and isolated from different parts of the noni plant. To date, several classes of metabolites have been described in different parts of the plant, including acids,
alcohols and phenols, anthraquinones, anthraquinone glycosides, carotenoids, esters, flavonoids, iridoids,
ketones, lactones, lignans, nucleoids, triterpenoids, triterpenoids, and several smaller compounds.
Also noteworthy is the occurrence of scopoletin (coumarin), a metabolite that occurs in several
plant families. This coumarin is relevant because its promising biological drug
activities have been reported, such as: antiangiogenic, hepatoprotective, antioxidant, spasmolytic, and
antiproliferative in human prostate cancer.
In addition, we should highlight the anthraquinone damnacanthal, which appears in nona and other species from
family Rubiaceae. This substance is particularly interesting because of its antitumor properties
potential.

Fermented Noni juice is superior in terms of popularity, acceptability, according to therapists
reports. The noni plant and its derivatives have shown potent therapeutic properties against inflammation,
infection, hypertension, cancer, ulcers, constipation, and autoimmune diseases.

Over the past few decades, many bioactive compounds have been structurally identified
and elucidated from many parts of the plant. The phytochemical profiling of the fruit of Morinda Citrifolia L. is
well established and elucidated.
The rich composition of noni and, most importantly, the synergistic action of individual components
enables a wide range of therapeutic applications.
THERAPEUTIC ACTION OF NONI
The noni plant exhibits an exceptionally high therapeutic and safety profile, making it popular as a health enhancer and dietary supplement worldwide.
Morinda citrifolia (noni) is used for more than 40 types of diseases worldwide.
The use of noni as a medicinal plant and its bioactivity have long been studied by ethnobotanists.
Traditional Polynesian medicine has used noni for over 2000 years to treat headaches, fever, arthritis, gingivitis, respiratory disorders, infections, tuberculosis, diabetes, central nervous system disorders.
Noni fruit juice is used in the Pacific region for the treatment of cancer and is believed to have analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, detoxifying and cell rejuvenating properties [5].
Publications demonstrate that noni is pharmacologically active and is used in various forms of cancer,
e.g. colon, esophageal, breast, colorectal cancer; cardiovascular
diseases, diabetes, arthritis, hypertension. These properties are supported by preclinical and/or
clinical studies [6].
